அதிக வெப்பநிலையும் ஈரப்பதமும் கொரோனாவை கட்டுப்படுத்தும் என்று ஆய்வு முடிவில் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளதால், வைரஸின் தாக்கம் விரைவில் குறையும் என்று தகவல் வெளியாகியுள்ளது. 2003ஆம் ஆண்டு சார்ஸ் வைரஸ் கோடைக்காலத்தில் வெகுவாக குறைந்தது. 

இதன் காரணமாக கொரோனாவும் குறையும் என்று கூறப்படுகிறது. அதிக வெப்பத்துடன் கூடிய ஈரப்பதம் கொரோனாவை கட்டுப்படுத்தும் என அமெரிக்க பல்கலைக்கழகம் நடத்திய ஆய்வில் தெரியவந்துள்ளது. 

இதன்காரணமாகவே சிங்கப்பூர், தாய்லாந்து ஆகிய நாடுகளில் வைரஸ் பாதிப்பு குறைவாக உள்ளது.குளிர் அதிகம் உள்ள ஹூபே உள்ளிட்ட பகுதிகளில் கொரோனா கடுமையாக பாதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. 

ஆனால் வெயில் அதிகம் உள்ள பகுதியில் அந்த அளவுக்கு பாதிப்பு இல்லை என்று தெரியவந்துள்ளது. கொரோனா வைரஸ் தாக்கத்தை பருவநிலை நிர்ணயிப்பதாக கூறப்பட்டாலும், மக்கள் தனிமைப்படுத்திக் கொள்வதே முக்கியம் என்று மருத்துவர்கள் கூறுகின்றனர்.
